What is the Family Sponsorship program?
The federal government of Canada places a high value on reuniting separated families. There are ways in which you may assist your family members become permanent residents of Canada if you are a Canadian citizen or permanent resident and you know someone who is. The Canadian immigration system is based on family reunification. There are various ways for Canadian citizens and permanent residents to bring their spouses, partners, children, parents, and grandparents to Canada.
In addition to the fundamental criteria, you must be able to show that you will assist your family members financially after they arrive in Canada and that you can meet your own needs in order to sponsor them for permanent residency in this country.. Make certain they won’t want any government aid after they arrive in Canada as a result of their decision.
